There are signs of a slight weakening of Western Disturbance in Himachal Pradesh. From tomorrow till June 11, there is a forecast of clear weather in most areas of the state. During this, there may be light rain or cloudy sky at some places of high and medium altitude.

Due to the weakening of the Western Disturbance, the people of the state are expected to get light relief from heavy rains and cold in the higher areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in many areas of Chamba, Kangra and Sirmaur till this afternoon. It may rain in other areas as well.

Due to the incessant rains in the state, the cold is not leaving behind in the mountains. People are troubled by the cold, especially in the higher areas. June is the hottest month of the season every year. In such a situation, this time on the mountains, to avoid the cold, warm clothes have to be worn.

Keylong recorded a minimum temperature of 5.1 degrees Celsius, Kukumsairi 5.5 degrees, Kalpa 6.6 degrees and famous tourist destination Manali also recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees. Two days ago, the minimum temperature of Keylong had dropped to 3.9 degrees.

Highest rainfall in Pachchh

During the last 24 hours, maximum rainfall was recorded at Pachhad in Sirmaur at 14.2 mm, Shilaru at 10.6 mm and Chopal at 10 mm. Even today morning it is cloudy in most areas of the state.

Looking at the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increasing the number of tourists at the tourist places of the state on week-end. After the end of the rainy season, the weather will become pleasant in the mountains. Due to this, tourism places like Manali, Shimla, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Narkanda etc. will increase during the next three-four days.
