Human remains were found in a shallow grave on Wednesday after a man said he made the startling discovery while searching for a chicken. The chicken escaped from a yard at Sapodilla Tuesday afternoon, leading its owner, James, to the vacant lot next door. Then something caught his eye. He responded by saying, “It’s weird you know. I never expected that thing behind my house.” The remains were located near 14th Street and Sapodilla Avenue.
