WBJEE ANM & GNM Result 2024: Rank Cards Released On wbjeeb.in, Here’s Direct Link

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE ANM & GNM Result 2024 on September 24, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results and download their rank cards from the official WBJEEB websites: wbjeeb.in and wbjeeb.nic.in. Students need to submit application number and date of birth to check their rank card.

“The results of the ANM & GNM-2024 for admission into ANM(R) & GNM courses in various Institutes in the State of West Bengal will be declared on 24-09-2024. Downloadable rank cards will be available from Board’s websites www.wbjeeb.nic.in and www.wbjeeb.in from 24-09-2024 onwards,” reads the offical notice.

WBJEE ANM & GNM Result 2024: How To Check And Download Rank Card?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board at wbjeeb.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, under ‘Recent Updates’ click on the link that reads ‘Rank Card for ANM (R) & GNM-2024).

Step 3: Now enter your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Your rank card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the rank card.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducted the OMR based Common Entrance Test on August 4 for ANM(R) & GNM-2024 for admission in various Colleges/Institutes in the State of West Bengal into two (2) years’ Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised) course and three (3) years’ General Nursing & Midwifery course for the academic session 2024-25.

Difference Between ANM and GNM

ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery)

  • Duration: Shorter diploma program focused on community health.
  • Training: Primarily basic nursing skills, including first aid and primary care.
  • Scope: Prepares students for roles as community health workers, emphasizing fundamental nursing concepts and patient record management.
  • Curriculum: Contains fewer courses than GNM and BSc Nursing, with a focus on essential training for smaller towns.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

  • Duration: Three and a half years, including a six-month internship.
  • Training: Comprehensive nursing education focused on individual, family, and community care.
  • Scope: Prepares students for a wide range of nursing roles in hospital settings, including patient care, research assistance, and teamwork.
  • Curriculum: Offers a broader and more in-depth training, beneficial for those wishing to pursue further education in nursing.
