The Joint Entrance Test for ANM and GNM Courses is scheduled for July 14 across the state

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is expected to release admission cards for the Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) entrance exams today. Candidates who have registered for the exams can obtain their admit cards from the official WBJEE website at wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm. The admit card download window will remain active until July 14. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card and a valid ID to the exam centre. The Joint Entrance Test for ANM and GNM Courses is scheduled for July 14 across the state.

WB ANM,GNM 2024 Admit Card: Steps To Download

Step 1: Go to the official WBJEE official website at wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ANM GNM Admit Card link.

Step 3: You’ll be taken to a login page.

Step 4: Enter your application details including your registration number, date of birth, and password issued at registration.

Step 5: Your admit card should appear on the screen once you submit your details

Step 6: Check and download the admission card.

The exam will have 100 questions for a total of 115 marks. All questions will be multiple-choice (MCQ), with four response alternatives each. The paper has a duration of 1.5 hours. Except for Basic English and Logical Reasoning, all questions will be in both English and Bengali.

The applications were open earlier this year and the examination cost was Rs 300 for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS and orphan students. Payment can be made via net banking, credit card, debit card, QR code, or UPI. For all others, the application fee was Rs 400. The board stated that once paid, the money is non-refundable under any circumstances and advised candidates not to wait until the deadline to make the payment.

The WB ANM and GNM entrance exams are held for admission to two-year ANM and three-year GNM programmes at various government and private nursing institutes in West Bengal for the academic year 2024-25. Those who qualify will be able to apply for these programmes.

It must be noted that appearing for the exam and even receiving a rank does not guarantee admission. The applicable guidelines at the time of counselling will determine allotment and admission requirements.
