AYUSH National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) counselling is all set to start. The registration process will begin on August 28 and will continue till September 2. Students will be able to seek admission in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine And Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga (BNYS) and Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) courses. Located in Pune, Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth is one of the top medical colleges in the country. It is ranked 11th in the NIRF Ranking 2024. All India Institute of Ayurveda

All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) Delhi is also one of the top Ayurvedic medical institutes in the country. It also has a campus in Goa, which rolled out a BAMS course last year. The fee here is Rs 16,000, which includes an admission fee of Rs 5,000, a tuition fee of Rs 1,000 per month, a caution deposit of Rs 5,000, which is refundable after completing the course and assessment and certification fees, as per HSSC norms.

National Institute of Ayurveda

The National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur is affiliated with Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurvedic University, Jodhpur. It offers the BAMS course and the fee is Rs 1.89 lakh.

Institute of Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Ayurveda

The Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda is in Gujarat’s Jamnagar (ITRA). It offers many courses including BAMS, MD/MS (Ayurveda), PhD (Ayurveda). There are 125 seats for BAMS here. Out of these 115 seats are for Indians and 10 seats are for foreign students. The fee is Rs 23,900.
