New Delhi: The sudden surge in COVID-19 cases caused by the Omicron variant has forced various producers to postpone the release date of their films, keeping in mind everyone’s safety. Tamil film, ‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ was postponed owing to this reason.
Tamil action hero, Vishal has himself reconfirmed the release date of the film. Vishal is a part of ‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ both as an actor and producer. The film has been produced under the banner of Vishal Film Factory. Dimple Hayathi is the leading lady of the film opposite Vishal. It has been directed by Thu Pa Saravanan and it marks his directorial debut.
The post-production process of the film has come to an end and the film is ready to hit the screens. Vishal announced on Twitter that the trailer will release on January 19, 2022, and the film will release in theatres on January 26, 2022. The announcement was made by sharing a stunning poster. Vishal tweeted, “#VeeramaeVaagaiSoodum & #Saamanyudu trailer will be releasing on 19th January 2022. GB In theatres from 26.01.22 #VVSTrailer.”
The teaser of the film was released recently and it created quite a stir on the internet. Fans cannot wait for the release of the film. The story brings forward the experiences of a common man from a middle-class family when he questions the authorities over abuse of power.
The film also features Yogi Babu, Baburaj, Marimuthu, Thulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, R.N.R. Manohar, Mariam George, and Maha Gandhi in pivotal roles. The music of the film is brought to life by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
