A wild elephant fell into a well in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh late on Saturday night. The rescue team struggled for 4 hours to get him out. First the path was made with the help of JCB. Then the elephant was pushed out of the same path by pushing it from behind. Thousands of people gathered around the news of the elephant falling into the well. Many people also made the video which has now surfaced.

The incident is from Hulu village of Gola police station area. After coming out of the well, the elephant went towards Sangrampur forest.

Actually, a herd of 10 to 12 elephants was going from Tandil Bisa village to Hulu village. The forest department team was also walking behind. During this suddenly an elephant fell into the well built between the maize and ladyfinger fields of the village. He started screaming loudly.

The forest department employees also understood that the accident had happened. He saw that an elephant was missing from the herd of elephants. After that the search started.

After this, the forest department officials were informed about this. Rescue operation started to get the elephant out of the well. The forest personnel ordered the JCB machine at around 6 am on Sunday. After this, a way was made to remove the elephant. With the help of that path the elephant came out of the pit. After this, he was sent back to the forest after being frightened by the flames. The elephant has also suffered injuries at many places due to falling in the well.
