A video of a horrific collision on the Bettiah-Lauria National Highway in Bihar has surfaced. It is seen in the video that there is a fierce head-on collision between the speeding Bolero and the truck. Bolero was blown away. Two more people aboard, including the Bolero driver, were buried in the vehicle itself. Within minutes the police and local people arrived. All three trapped in Bolero were rescued. One person died on the spot.
Two people injured in the accident were admitted to Lauria Referral Hospital for treatment, where one more person died during treatment. One person is still undergoing treatment. The incident is of June 3, whose CCTV footage has now surfaced.

Brother-in-law and brother-in-law died in the accident
The deceased were identified as Rajkumar Patel (14), son of Pramod Patel, a resident of Manguraha under Lauria police station area, and Laltu Prasad (34), a resident of Dhumnagar Kurmi Tola of Nautan police station area. Both were brother-in-law in the relationship. The police have confiscated the truck and the Bolero after the incident.
Bolero was coming from Manguraha of Mathia Panchayat on behalf of Lauria. Bolero collided with a speeding truck going towards Bettiah. Laltu Prasad died on the spot in the accident. While Rajkumar Patel and Bolero owner Jitendra Patel were seriously injured.
With the help of the people around, both were admitted to Lauria Hospital for treatment. Here the doctors referred both of them to Bettiah. Rajkumar Patel also succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital. At the same time, the condition of Jitendra Patel is also critical.
Rajkumar studies at his brother-in-law’s house in Nautan’s Dhumnagar East Tola. On June 3, he had come to Mangurha with his brother-in-law Laltu Prasad. Here late night Bolero went to Lauria with brother-in-law for some work. The accident happened on Lauria NH-727 while returning home after finishing work.
