New Delhi: The release date of director Karan Johar’s upcoming project was announced on Monday in collaboration with Prime Video India. Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk play the main roles in the movie. The theatrical release of the film has been scheduled by Dharma Productions for February 23, 2024.
Previously slated for release on August 25, 2023, the Anand Tiwari-directed film does not yet have a title. Karan wrote a lengthy post on social media to announce the movie and to congratulate the production crew.
“I’m so thrilled to collaborate with @vickykaushal09 , who I not only admire immensely as an artist but also as a human being of dignity and strength! I can’t wait to direct him one day again soon…We had such a blast in Lust Stories!!! @ammyvirk is a powerhouse of energy and artistry in equal measure! Love him and his sheer aura and vibe! And my darling @tripti_dimri who is in a commercial avatar for the first time. Her gorgeousness & presence has enhanced her every beat in the film! She is so solid!” the filmmaker wrote in the caption.
“Can’t wait to announce the title of this riot of an entertainer with a beating heart! Heartfelt gratitude to our team and family at @primevideoin for being the most amazing studio and collaborators on this fim….watch this space for more,” he wrote.
After collaborating on Tiwari’s directorial debut, ‘Love per Square Foot’, this is Anand Tiwari and Vicky Kaushal‘s second project together. Meanwhile, promoting his directorial comeback, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, is keeping Karan Johar quite busy right now. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, it will be released on July 28.
