Politics in the name of Bajrangbali started after Congress manifesto
The entry of Bajrang Dal and Bajrang Bali in the Karnataka elections came at a time when the Congress had released its manifesto last week. It said, ‘As soon as it comes to the government in the state, it will ban Bajrang Dal, PFI, taking strict action against all organizations spreading hatred between communities on the basis of caste and religion.’

The Congress released the party's manifesto on May 2 in Bengaluru. In this, there was talk of taking action against Bajrang Dal.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad said – The announcement of ban is humiliating
VHP general secretary Milind Parande said, “Congress has spoken of banning Bajrang Dal in Karnataka. Following this Congress and some other anti-Hindu leaders in several states including Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra have demanded a ban on Bajrang Dal. This is very insulting. That’s why we have organized this program so that Bajrangbali gives wisdom to Congress and other organizations.

What did the Congress say in its election manifesto
The Congress released its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly elections on 2 May. The party had said in its manifesto, ‘We believe that the law and the constitution are sacred. No person or Bajrang Dal, PFI and other organizations that spread hatred, enmity, be it between the majority or the minority, they cannot violate the law and the constitution. We will take decisive action including banning such organizations under law.

When the BJP made this an issue in every rally, the Congress came on the back foot. Senior leader P. Chidambaram said last Sunday, ‘The party’s manifesto does not say at all that Bajrang Dal will be banned as soon as his party forms the government in the state. The party has definitely promised to take decisive action within the ambit of the law against all organizations that spread hatred.

PM Modi said – this is the same Congress which locked Ram
In response to this, PM Modi had said at the rally in Vijay Nagar – This is the same Congress which first locked up Shri Ram, now it is talking about locking up Bajrangbali.
