US President Joe Biden stated that the hostage deal which was proposed six weeks ago was agreed to by both Israel and Hamas at a press conference on Thursday following the conclusion of the NATO Summit in Washington.
He added that he was sending a team to “hammer out the details.”
Biden said that there were “still gaps to close,” but “the trend is positive.”
He noted that he was determined to bring about an end to the Israel-Hamas war, which he added, “should end now.”
