The UPSC ESE 2024 exam is slated to take place on February 18 in two sessions. The forenoon session from 10 AM – 12 PM and afternoon session from 2 PM – 5 PM
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the exam schedule for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024 (Preliminary). As per the notification, the UPSC ESE 2024 exam is slated to take place on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Candidates can access the detailed exam schedule via the official website at upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC ESE 2024 preliminary examination is scheduled to be conducted in two sessions, with the forenoon session taking place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon session scheduled from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. Candidates must note that entry to the examination venue will be closed 30 minutes before the start of each session of the examination. After the closure of entry, no candidates will be permitted to enter the examination venue.
The Commission will make the e-Admit Card available on its website for the convenience of admitted candidates. It is advised that admitted candidates promptly download and print their e-Admit Card once it is available on the website. The e-Admit Card should be preserved until the final result of the Engineering Services Examination, 2024, is declared. No paper Admit card will be issued for this exam.
According to the official notification, “The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card at the allotted Venue for appearing at the Examination. A candidate, who does not produce his/her e-Admit Card for checking at the allotted venue, shall not be allowed to take the Examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each Session.”

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Find and click on the “Notice: Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024” section.
Step 3: A new page will appear, providing access to the notification.
Step 4: Download the notification for future reference.
Candidates are advised to submit any representations they may have regarding the questions asked in the Question Papers of the UPSC ESE 2024 Examination to the Commission between February 19 and 25, 2024, until 6:00 PM through the Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep). It is essential to note that representations made through any other mode after February 25, 2024, will not be considered by the Commission.
