Left student organization SFI (Student Federation of India) had announced screening of BBC documentary ‘The Modi Question’ at Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University. The central government has already banned this documentary. There was a lot of uproar on the campus regarding the screening. After this Delhi Police took 13 students of SFI into custody.

On this matter, the university administration said that no film will be allowed in the campus without prior permission. Even then, if the matter is not accepted, action will be taken against the organisers. Vice Chancellor Najma Akhtar said that the student organization SFI wants to spoil the atmosphere of the campus. If needed, action will be taken against these students.

On the other hand, explosive batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been elected ICC Men’s T20 Player of the Year. He is the first Indian batsman to receive this award. Among the contenders for this title were English batsman Sam Karan, Pakistani wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan and Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza. The SFI had announced the screening of the BBC documentary at Jamia Millia Islamia University at 6 pm on Wednesday. But SFI has postponed the screening till the release of the students. At the same time, there was an uproar in the student center of Punjab University (PU) over the playing of the controversial documentary. NSUI commissioned this documentary. Many students gathered to see it. Meanwhile, the university administration came to know about this and the documentary played on the projector was immediately stopped. Before this, almost half the documentary had gone through.

Here, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said – How can a documentary affect the sovereignty of our nation? It is unnecessary to ban it. We are a powerful country, the documentary can be ignored. Our sovereignty and national security is not something that can be affected by a documentary. At the same time, Anil Antony, son of Congress leader AK Antony, who supported the banning of the documentary, resigned from all party posts on Wednesday morning.

If a passenger is unable to board due to flight cancellation or flight delay. So in such a situation, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued new guidelines regarding refund. According to this, if an airline downgrades a passenger’s ticket, cancels the ticket without informing or denies boarding, then it will have to refund 30 to 75% of the amount.

Companies will have to give 75% refund for domestic flights. In addition to this, 30% of the ticket cost for flights of 1500 kms or less, 50% for flights between 1500 kms to 3500 kms and 50% for flights above 3500 kms, as the case may be with International Passengers 75% refund will have to be given to the passengers. The new rules will come into effect from February 15.
