UP: Yogi Government Bans Digital Attendance for Teachers | ABP News

The issue of digital attendance of teachers in government schools in Uttar Pradesh has sparked a political uproar. On Monday, teachers protested against online attendance by staging demonstrations on the streets, with a significant number participating.

In UP schools, online attendance for teachers started on July 8, which teachers are opposing. They have threatened a statewide protest on July 23 if their demands are not met. Until their demands are fulfilled, they will not comply with online attendance.

In response to the teachers’ opposition, the government has taken action. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with officials on Monday, directing them to engage with teachers. He instructed district magistrates to collaborate with BSA and ABSA officials to address teachers’ issues promptly, ensuring smooth functioning of schools.
