Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised his government’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis during the second wave, saying it was the best in the world. He compared Uttar Pradesh’s COVID crisis management with the USA, saying that since the beginning of the pandemic, UP has reported 22,900 deaths, however, the US witnessed 6 lakh deaths due to Coronavirus. He said that after witnessing the oxygen crisis during the 2nd wave, the UP government has installed 551 new O2 plants. UP is now well equipped to fight against the COVID-19 3rd wave.
