UP assembly session: SP’s padyatra started under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, marching will reach Vidhan Bhavan, heavy police force deployed

Under the leadership of SP President Akhilesh Yadav, a large number of SP workers are marching from the party office to the Vidhan Bhavan. The SP has organized this padyatra in protest against the state government on the issue of rising inflation, farmers’ problems and law and order.

Vikramaditya Marg has been made a cantonment for the padyatra. A large number of forces have been deployed by barricading from VVIP intersection to SP office. The movement of general public has been stopped on this route.

Akhilesh Yadav reached the SP office at around quarter to 10 for the padyatra. Other MLAs of the party have also reached the office. From here all the MLAs and workers under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav set out on foot for the Vidhan Bhavan.

The exit program has now been stopped. Sapai is in the process of changing the route. However, the force is also being increased on the road behind the office. MLAs and workers have taken placards of slogans in their hands.

Session will run till 23 September
Monsoon session of UP Vidhan Sabha is starting from Monday. An all-party meeting was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Speaker Satish Mahana to conduct the second session of the 18th Legislative Assembly, which lasted till September 23, in a peaceful manner. In this, Mahana requested all the parties to help in running the house smoothly, but the opposition has announced to surround the government on the issue of inflation and law and order.

This is the strategy of the opposition
Chief whip of main opposition SP Manoj Kumar Pandey said that the government is failing on the issue of law and order. Crime is increasing continuously in the state. The crime graph has increased especially on women. Leaders of opposition parties are being harassed. Due to inflation, it has become difficult for the public to collect bread for June 2. He said that the government would be surrounded on the basis of these issues in the House. Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’, Umashankar Singh of BSP, Rajpal Baliyan of RLD, Bediram of SubhaSP have also announced to surround the government on the issue of inflation and law and order. Ram Niwas Verma from Apna Dal S, Anil Kumar Tripathi from Nishad Party and Vinod Saroj from Jansatta Dal (Democratic) also attended the meeting.
