A unique marriage of two dogs took place in Gurugram, Haryana. The marriage also took place according to traditional customs. Sheru (male) owner of Sweety (female) along with his relatives and friends arrived with a procession of people dancing and singing with bands. Before this all other rituals were performed except turmeric ceremony. Everything was donated and dowry was given by Sweety’s owner and the wedding cards were also hidden. Now the marriage of two dogs is getting a lot of discussion.

In fact, a man named Raja has been living with his wife Savita alias Rani for the last many years in District Singh Colony of Palam Vihar Extension, Gurugram. He works as a tea seller. She is childless. Because of which his animal love is not hidden from anyone. Savita tells that her husband used to go to the nearby temple daily and used to feed biscuits or something else to the dogs and other animals daily. 3 years ago, an abandoned dog chased him from the temple itself to his house.

Due to not having any child, Raja and Savita lovingly named the dog Sweety and then raised him as a daughter. Savita tells that for some time everyone used to tell her that they should marry Sweety. For this, another dog owner Manita of the colony was talked to. Manita lovingly named her dog Sheru. Sheru has been living with him for the last 8 years. After agreeing from both the sides, 4 days ago, the program of marriage of both of them was suddenly finalized.

Hide the wedding card, performed all the rituals from turmeric
Sweety and Sheru’s 25 wedding cards were hidden after their marriage was finalised. Also, apart from the colony, 100 people from the neighborhood were invited. The procession came from Sheru’s owner’s house to Sweety’s owner’s house. Before this, turmeric rituals were performed in both the houses. Both the houses were decorated. At the same time, both were married at the pavilion adjacent to Sweety’s house.

The special thing about this marriage is that people took Sheru to the house of Sweety’s owner Raja and danced with the music. The king, according to his wish, also gave utensils, sweety and Sheru’s clothes in dowry and then happily sweety was sent away from the house.
