The National Testing Agency (NTA) is closing the registration for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2023 session tomorrow, October 28. Interested candidates can submit their applications for the UGC NET December 2023 session on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. As per the schedule, the last date for paying the UGC NET exam fee is October 29, 2023. The UGC NET application form edit window will be open from October 30 to October 31, 2023.
During this edit window period, candidates can make corrections in their personal details in the UGC NET registration form and rectify any issues with their uploaded images and scanned signatures.
UGC NET December 2023 Admit Card: How To Download?
To apply for UGC NET December 2023, here are the steps to follow:

Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Look for the “UGC NET December registration” link and click on it to initiate the application process.

Fill out the application form by providing the required details and uploading the necessary documents as specified.

Make the UGC NET registration fee payment according to your category and click on the “Submit” button to complete the application.

After successful submission, make sure to download and save a copy of the UGC NET registration form for future reference.
The UGC NET application fee varies according to the category of the candidates:
- General category or unreserved candidates: Rs 1,150
- EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) and OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: Rs 600
- SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and Third Gender candidates: Rs 325
The UGC NET December 2023 session exam is planned to take place from December 6 to December 22, 2023. This examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the positions of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in various universities and colleges throughout the country.
