The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the UGC NET 2024 exam city intimation slip. The allotment city slip can be downloaded from the UGC NET official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Applicants must use their registration number and date of birth to download their city intimation slip. The exam will be held from August 21 to 23.

UGC NET Exam City Intimation Slip 2024: How to Download?

Step 1: Go to the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: From the home page, click on the UGC NET Exam 2024 city intimation slip link.

Step 3: Candidates must input their login information on a new page that opens.

Step 4: After clicking submit, the city intimation slip will be presented.

Step 5: Review the city intimation slip and download the page.

Step 6: Keep a printed copy of the exam city intimation slip for further use.

UGC NET 2024: Admit Card Update

With the exam slated to be held from August 21, Wednesday, the hall tickets are expected to be released anytime soon. Candidates must note that the exam city slip and admit cards are different documents. The admit cards will contain the exam centre and address as well as exam day guidelines. Without the UGC NET admit cards, the students will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

The exam was earlier held on June 18. But on June 19, the board announced its cancellation due to the possibility of a paper leak. It was eventually discovered that two days prior to the test, the question paper had been circulated over the dark web.

The UGC-NET 2024 will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for 83 subjects at various centres across the nation using the OMR (Pen and Paper) format. It will held in two shifts. The first shift is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The UGC NET is held for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
