Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference in Mumbai.

Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has said that Uddhav Thackeray has no right to demand the resignation of CM Eknath Shinde. He said, I want to ask that when the government was to be formed with the BJP, leaving it, then went with the NCP and the Congress and formed the government, then in which box was this morality sealed? Don’t talk about morality. The question of Eknath Shinde’s resignation does not arise at all.

Fadnavis held a press conference after the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the political crisis in Maharashtra. Fadnavis said, the verdict marked the victory of democracy and the people. We are satisfied with the decision of the court. The speaker has the authority to take decisions.

MVA’s plan backfired
Fadnavis said that this decision has ruined the plans of the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Today those who raised questions have got answers. The Government of Maharashtra is constitutionally and legally correct.

Fadnavis said, the Supreme Court has made it clear that the decision taken cannot be reversed. Uddhav Thackeray cannot be made CM again. The Speaker has been given the right to decide which political party it is, keeping in mind the 10th Schedule and then a decision will be taken on cancellation of membership. The speaker has the authority to take decisions.

He said that the Election Commission has full authority. The Election Commission can take its decision even after hearing on disqualification.

Uddhav Thackeray raised the question that the decision of the Election Commission is wrong. The speaker also has the right to choose who the political party belongs to. It is also true that the governor invited Eknath Shinde to form the government. This proves that our government is constitutional.

At the same time, Eknath Shinde said, finally truth has prevailed. We all heard the decision of the Supreme Court. The country is run by democracy. The power belongs to the majority. We established the government keeping all the factors in mind. Today the Supreme Court has stamped on this matter.

Uddhav said – I resigned on the basis of morality
On the decision of the Supreme Court, Uddhav Thackeray said that the decision of the Governor was wrong. I resigned on moral grounds. If Eknath Shinde and Fadnavis have morals then they should also resign like me. Some people can go to any extent for power. The court’s decision will decide the future of the country.
