SURAT: Two people fled taking away a bag containing Rs 18 lakh cash kept on the bike by a money transfer firm employee in Khatodara on Tuesday.
Police said Nainesh Sagadiwala (50), who lives in Vesu and works with his uncle’s firm and regularly goes to deposit cash in the bank. Sagadiwala was on the way to a bank in Bhatar area. At around 3:15pm, when he was passing near Unique Hospitaltwo persons came on bike and snatched the bag which the victim had kept on the petrol tank.
