Two helicopters have remained a challenge for the Rajasthan Police since this morning. Both of them first circled over the river and suddenly started to land, but before touching the ground again disappeared in flight.

The incident happened on Thursday morning in Barmer district. Police said that information about the landing of helicopters was received at Samdari in the district at around 10 am. A video of them has also surfaced. Local people told that these helicopters also tried to land in the Luni river.

Seeing the choppers, the mafia, who were doing illegal mining of gravel, fled from there. They thought that the administration team had come to catch them. Nearby people made a video of the helicopter and uploaded it on social media. Now the police and administration are gathering information in this regard.

The entire area beyond Jodhpur is considered very sensitive due to its close proximity to the International Border.  The incident of helicopters suddenly hovering here has alerted the administration.

Two people were in the helicopter
Local farmer Manak Mali told that he had gone to the field for some work. During this it was seen that two helicopters were trying to land in the Luni river, but after a minute, they took off. Two people including the pilot were seen in it. No one brought down.

ASP Narpat Singh said that after the video surfaced, information was received about this. The concerned police officer has been ordered to collect the information. It is not yet clear where they came from and who were in it.
