Two arrested for circulating provocative messages in Andhra Pradesh: Preparing for army recruitment; Conspiracy to blow up Tirupati railway station

Andhra Pradesh Police has arrested two youths for circulating provocative messages on social media against the Agneepath scheme. Investigation revealed that both had conspired to blow up Tirupati railway station as well. At present, both are being questioned. Also, the security of Tirupati station has been increased.

Police said that they have received information that some people are trying to instigate the youth. Apart from this, a conspiracy is also being hatched to blow up Tirupati railway station. On this the police took action and arrested both of them. Both have been identified as Rajesh and Rupesh. These people are residents of Yaravaripalem in Tirupati district.

Police say they have received inputs that some army recruitment coaching agencies had also sent messages asking them to assemble at the Secunderabad railway station. Due to this the security of the station has been increased. Apart from the station, security has also been beefed up at the bus stand and government offices.

Tirupati’s superintendent of police warned the agitators
Tirupati Superintendent of Police Parameshwara Reddy has warned that no protest, rallies, dharnas, rasta roko or any kind of agitation will be allowed to the people on the occasion of Bharat Bandh on Monday. He said a case would be registered against the agitators if they are caught destroying public properties. Andhra Pradesh Police has arrested 45 people so far in connection with the violence against Agniveer.
