The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Hyderabad, has published the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) counselling schedule 2024. Candidates can register by visiting the official website of POLYCET at polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. It is to be noted that registration for the counselling process will begin on June 20. The announcement for counselling for admissions to diploma courses in Telangana’s polytechnic colleges was issued on May 29.
Candidates who have passed the POLYCET Entrance Test must complete registration and slot booking between June 20 to 24. After this, the certificate verification will be held from June 22 to June 25. The first round of seat allotment will begin before June 30, with students required to pay the fee and report to their respective colleges from June 30 to July 4.
The second phase of POLYCET counselling is slated to take place from July 7 to 16, with web option registration starting on July 9. For the second phase, seat allotment will be done on July 13, followed by self-reporting at respective colleges by July 16. Internal sliding is slated for July 21, with seat allotment before July 24. Spot admission guidelines will be released on July 23.

Meanwhile, the TS POLYCET exam was conducted on May 24. Out of 92,808 applicants, a total of 82,809 students appeared for the exam. This counselling process would be the gateway to admissions to various diploma courses in public and private polytechnic colleges in Telangana.
In addition to that, admissions to engineering and non-engineering diploma courses in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and fisheries courses will also be held based on POLYCET 2024 ranks.
