Angry student organizations as well as political parties are shutting down Bihar today i.e. on Friday due to disturbances in the results of RRB-NTPC examination. Since morning there is commotion in the entire state. Workers of 7 political parties RJD, Congress, JAP, CPI, CPM, CPI-ML and VIP of Bihar are on the road in support of railway candidates. RJD workers have stopped Bihar Sampark Kranti in Darbhanga. At the same time, JAP workers stopped trains in Bhagalpur and Supaul. A clash broke out between the workers of Pappu Yadav’s party JAP and the police at Dakbangla intersection in Patna. At the same time, members of SFI (Students Federation of India) also demonstrated in front of Rail Bhawan in New Delhi against the brutal action of UP and Bihar Police.

At the same time, at Ramshish Chowk of Hajipur Nagar, Vaishali, Mahua’s RJD MLA Dr. Mukesh Roshan set ablaze the road and blocked it. They raised slogans against the government. During this, long queues of vehicles appeared on the main roads including Hajipur-Muzaffarpur, Hajipur-Chapra, Hajipur-Samastipur. Traffic came to a standstill due to the jam. 2.5 thousand soldiers deployed in Patna

Keeping in mind the ruckus in the terminal and Bhikhna hill, the police-administration also made complete planning to make the bandh unsuccessful. In view of the bandh, about two and a half thousand security forces have been deployed in the district including Patna. Police are deployed around every square-square, public places, government buildings and monuments of the city. The maximum focus of the police will be on Dak Bungalow Chauraha, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, New and Old Bypass, Patna Junction area, Secretariat Halt, Ashok Rajpath and Baripath, where students’ hostels are located.

Deployment of railway police force even at small stations

Railway Police will also be stationed at Patna Junction, Rajendranagar Terminal, Patna Sahib, Danapur to Ara, Buxar, Gaya and other stations. Railway Police will be in touch with RPF and District Police. Rail SP PK Mandal said that police will be stationed at every big and small stations of Patna rail district. Strict action will be taken against those who damage railway property, stop the train.
