OnePlus 12 May Come With A Massive Camera Upgrade

Weeks after the launch of the OnePlus 11, we have leaks and rumours about the OnePlus 12 coming in. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, also a Weibo leakster, OnePlus is currently testing a periscope lens and we could see the OnePlus 12 launch with the same, which could mean much better zoom capabilities on the phone.

As per Digital Chat Station, via Android Authority publication, the handset maker is testing a periscope lens on a device with the number “SM8650” that could come with Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

WhatsApp Accounts Registered Using Fraudulent Numbers Will Be Disabled

Union Minister for Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that Meta-owned WhatsApp has agreed to disable a WhatsApp account from its messaging platform if that number is found to be a fraudulent connection. This comes amid the government’s cognisance of the growing number of international spam calls in India and an announcement to send a notice to the platform.

The Union minister was speaking at the launch of a customer-facing sectoral reform. The Centre is also in talks with other messaging services, such as Telegram to remove fraudulent users.

Manish Chopra, the head of partnership initiatives in India for Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, has announced his resignation after a tenure of four and a half years. Chopra’s departure is the latest in a series of significant exits from Meta India. Previously, former India head Ajit Mohan and public policy head Rajiv Aggarwal left the company in November 2022. Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Chopra stated that he would be involved in the transition process over the coming weeks.

Chopra joined Meta India (formerly known as Facebook India) in 2019 as the Director and Head of Partnerships. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the growth and engagement strategies for Meta’s suite of applications, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
