Non-profit EPIC Foundation has mode a novel innovation in the form India’s first indigenously designed and manufactured AI-powered education tablet. This landmark development promises to revolutionise learning across the country, particularly for students facing the digital divide. VVDN Technologies, MediaTek India, and CoRover.ai collaborated to create the tablet’s hardware and software. The tablet leverages Artificial Intelligence to personalize learning experiences, making education more engaging and effective. The tablet incorporates BharatGPT, an AI-powered virtual assistant, and multilingual translation capabilities, ensuring inclusivity for diverse language speakers and differently-abled individuals.

Itel P55 Series Goes On Sale In India

Last week, Itel unveiled the P55 series of smartphones in India, featuring the P55 and P55+ models within its Power series. The phones have now became available for purchase in India through Amazon.in, accompanied by bank offers. The Itel P55 is offered in Moonlit Black, Aurora Blue, and Brilliant Gold hues, priced at Rs. 7499 (or Rs. 6999 with a Rs. 500 bank discount) for the 4GB (8GB virtual RAM) + 128GB storage variant. Available for purchase on Amazon.in. Meanwhile, the Itel P55+ is available in Royal Green and Meteor Black shades, priced at Rs. 9999 (or Rs. 9499 with a Rs. 500 bank discount) for the sole 8GB (8GB virtual RAM) variant.

Instagram Starts Testing X-Like ‘Today’s Topics’ On Threads

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced in a Threads post that the platform is launching a new trial in the US. This test will feature a list of trending topics discussed by other users, similar to X, formerly Twitter, visible on the search page and within the For You feed. Users will have the opportunity to explore posts related to specific topics through this feature. Alongside experimenting with a post-saving feature, the social networking giant has announced its intention to introduce controls to restrict the recommendations of political content on Instagram Threads.
