Kirtan from Sri Ber Sahib
Nagar Kirtan which started from Shri Ber Sahib of Sultanpur Lodhi today proceeded towards Batala and Dera Baba Nanak via Jalandhar. Various types of tableaux were also taken out in the Nagar Kirtan being taken out under the leadership of Shri Palki Sahib. Along with Sri Harimandir Sahib and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, many tableaux were enjoyed by the sangat.
Wherever Nagar Kirtan came out, the sangats had arranged langars for the devotees. From Jalandhar via Kartapur towards Batala, people were bowing down in front of the beed of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Nagar Kirtan.
Tonight, Nagar Kirtan will reach Dera Baba Nanak via Batala and will stay there for the night. In the morning, through the corridor on the Indian border, it will enter the Pakistan border. There Sikh Sangat of Pakistan will welcome Nagar Kirtan. Nagar Kirtan will leave for Sri Kartarpur Sahib after Staple Biza check at the Indian border.
This Nagar Kirtan will be attended by thousands of devotees who will accompany the Nagar Kirtan till Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. After this, a group of Sikhs will take Nagar Kirtan, who have been allowed by the Government of India to visit Shri Kartarpur Sahib after getting permission from the Government of Pakistan.
After entering the border of Pakistan, there will be reception of Nagar Kirtan on the corresponding border of Pakistan. After this, this Nagar Kirtan will stop on the corridor of Pakistan. After completing the formality on immigration check there, Nagar Kirtan will be sent to Sri Kartarpur Sahib on the border only four kilometers away.
Nagar Kirtan led by Sri Palki Sahib will start from Sri Ber Sahib and will reach Sri Kartarpur Sahib. The one who will not be able to go to Pakistan due to non-availability of sangat bija will see Nagar Kirtan from Dera Baba Nanak on the Indian border and from there will have darshan of Shri Kartarpur Sahib. The view on both sides of the Indo-Pak border during Nagar Kirtan is worth seeing.
