TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website — tnpsc.gov.in

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will close the application process for the Group 4 recruitment today February 28, at 11:59 pm. Through the recruitment drive, the commission is offering a total of 6,244 vacancies. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website — tnpsc.gov.in. The application correction window will open on March 4 and close on March 6.

“The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission to all stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions,” reads the official notice.

Candidates applying for the posts must be between the ages of 18 to 32 years as of July 1, 2024. However, for those willing to apply for the posts of Village Administrative Officer, Forest Guard, Forest Guard with Driving Licence, Forest Watcher, and Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth), such candidates are required to be between 21 and 32 years old as of July 1, 2024.

TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website of the TNPSC — tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the “New User” tab to start the registration process.

Step 3: Provide all necessary details.

Step 4: After submitting, candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 5: Complete the registration process by entering the received OTP in the space provided.

Step 6: Fill in the application form and upload essential documents, including a photograph and signature.

Step 7: Pay the TNPSC Group 4 application fee and submit the form. Download a copy for future reference.

The TNPSC Group 4 recruitment examination is scheduled to take place on June 9, with the exam duration set from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The examination will feature a single paper, with questions based on the SSLC or Class 10 standard. The paper is divided into two sections: Part A, known as the Tamil Eligibility-cum Scoring Test, will include 100 questions, each contributing to a total of 150 marks. Meanwhile, Part B encompasses General Studies (75 questions) and an Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 questions), collectively amounting to 150 marks.
