When the tigress caught sight of a leopard roaming in its territory, it became an attacker. She ran to hunt the leopard. Seeing the attack, Leopard climbed the tree to save his life. The tourists were thrilled to see this ‘encounter’ of the two predatory animals.

Noor is the famous and oldest tigress of Ranthambore. In the last stage of her age, she has also become a mother.

Expert said, it is rare for a tigress to climb a tree
Wildlife expert of Ranthambore, Dr. Dharmendra Khandal says that the weight of a tiger ranges from 300 to 400 kg. Due to being heavy, tigers and tigresses cannot climb trees. At the same time, their body structure is made according to the big prey. Their victims are animals like sambhar, deer, nilgai. That’s why tiger cannot climb the tree. Leopard weighs around 100 kg. Its body structure is small, due to which it easily climbs the tree.

The age of 16 is considered the last stage in the life of tigers, but at the age of 15, tigress T-39 gave birth to two cubs in March.
