Throwback Tuesday: Tamannaah Bhatia Was Once Rejected From Dance Show ‘Boogie Woogie’

New Delhi: Actress Tamannaah Bhatia shared a remarkable anecdote during her appearance at Prime Video’s slate announcement event, ‘Prime Video Presents’. The event, which took place on March 19, showcased the upcoming streaming title ‘Daring Partners’, featuring Tamannaah alongside Diana Penty and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Not many people know but Tamannaah once auditioned for the famous dance reality show ‘Boogie Woogie’. Recalling her past, Tamannaah revealed, “I was once rejected from ‘Boogie Woogie’. Since then it has been a journey to share the same platform with Javed sir, it all has come full-circle.”

Tamannaah’s revelation sheds light on her evolution from rejection to collaboration with the esteemed actor Jaaved Jaaferi.

Talking about her upcoming project, ‘Daring Partners’ narrates the tale of two best friends venturing into the alcohol industry, defying conventions and shaping their destiny in a male-dominated domain. The series promises an audacious narrative, where the protagonists challenge norms, bend rules, and carve their path to success. 

With its unique storyline and talented cast, ‘Daring Partners’ is set to captivate audiences upon its release on Prime Video.

Several announcements about the Prime Video Presents’ big event were made today. First up is Citadel Honey Boney, the long-awaited Indian adaptation of the hit Russo Brothers’ series Citadel. Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Simran, Kay Kay Menon, and others will be featured in the series. Additionally, there was Call Me Bae, starring Ananya Panday and featuring Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, among others. 

About ‘Boogie Woogie’ 

‘Boogie Woogie’ is an iconic Indian dance reality show, making it a cherished part of television history. The show aired from 1996 to 2014. Javed Jaffery, Naved Jaffery and Ravi Behl were the famous judges trio on the show.
