A state in Eastern India27 minutes ago

Today is June 5th. The day of total revolution of Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan. This movement changed the direction of the country’s politics from Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Many leaders shone from this movement in Bihar and UP. Later on he became Minister-Chief Minister and Union Minister, but after 48 years today JP is anonymous in his own village. Even today the name of the village Kodarha Nau Brar is recorded in the official pages. Even today there is no pucca road in the village. It is not possible to say for how many hours when the power will be cut. Read the ground report of Bhaskar from the village of JP, the hero of the country’s biggest movement.. Before taking part in the poll, give your opinion…

The village of Jai Prakash Narayan is 30 km away from Bhojpur (Ara) and Chhapra is Kodraha Nau Brar. Situated in Sitab Diara, this village is at a distance of 55 km from Ballia. In this way, the village is on the Bihar border in Uttar Pradesh, but Bihar has more interference in this village. The village with a population of about 25 thousand falls in Ara, Ballia and Chhapra.

On one side is the Mahuli Ghat of Arrah, while on two sides there is Chhapra and one side is Ballia. Sitab Diara has two Vidhan Sabha seats of Bihar and one of UP, while Bihar has two Lok Sabha seats and one Lok Sabha seat of UP. Even after this, no road is going to connect this village from Bihar government, UP government has also not done any work on the road. The lack of basic facilities like electricity, water, roads, health care and education shows the neglect of the government in this village. The name of the village is still not recorded in the records in the name of JP, in the revenue village it is known as Kodraha Nau Berar.

JP had said that the village will develop after death

Jai Prakash Narayan Memorial Trust was formed in 1986 to make the residence of Jai Prakash Narayan a tourist destination. Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar Singh was made the founder chairman of the trust. Many big leaders from Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Sharad Pawar, Ram Sundar Das joined this trust. Under the trust, from the residence of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar Singh to JP’s residence and from the dining hall to his meeting. Even today JP’s old flower pots are present in his dining hall. Many rare items have been kept with JP’s clothes.

Ashok Kumar Singh, the administrator of the trust, says that the people of the village used to call Jai Prakash ji a big owner with love. The people of the village used to ask that the village road will not be built, electricity will not be installed, post office will not open, on this Jai Prakash ji used to answer that as long as we are living, nothing will happen, everything will happen after death. . Sitab Diyara is struggling with the erosion of the Ganges. Due to this the geographical condition of the village is changing every year. This cutting is mainly taking place from the Ganga of Ara and the Saryu river of Chhapra, but the Bihar government has not built a defense dam.

Electricity came in 1973 but not improved yet

Ashok Kumar Singh, the administrator of the trust, says that a letter was written to the then Chief Minister Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna for electricity and telephone in the village. After writing the letter, during the three-day stay, work was done on a war footing to install the telephone in the village. Jai Prakash Narayan was about to leave for Patna. The elephants were decorated with steamer, meanwhile suddenly the telephone rang. On the line was Chief Minister Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna. In the conversation, JP asked for electricity in the village. After this, electricity came to the village in 1973, but even after 49 years, the electricity system has not been improved. Even today, when the electricity will come and when it will go, it is not known. The power goes out for several days.

Chandrashekhar was entrusted with the responsibility of the village

Jai Prakash Narayan’s last visit to the village has also been memorable. During his return from the village, he asked the pilot to go round the whole village with a heli copter. During this, JP’s eyes filled with tears and he spoke to former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar to take care of the village. Ashok tells that as long as Chandrashekhar Singh was alive, he kept coming to the village.

A telephone exchange was also built with schools, banks and hospitals. Chandrashekhar Singh had a dream that the name of JP’s village should be immortalized in the country and abroad, so that the village should be made a tourist destination. But everything came to an end after the death of Chandrashekhar Singh. Electricity, roads and other facilities fell victim to the neglect of the government. Vivek Singh Kargil of the village says that politics has been done in the name of JP, no work has been done to give special recognition to JP’s name. There is no system of even roads with education, health and electricity. Politics is being done in the name of the biggest leader of the country who did not enjoy the pleasure of power.

Lalu Yadav gave false assurance

Patna High Court advocate Manibhushan Pratap Sengar, a resident of Sitab Diara, says that big leaders have originated from the JP movement. The leaders who came out of the movement also got the post of CM of Bihar, in the name of JP, there is more politics in Bihar even today. It is a pity that those who do politics in the name have not done anything for JP.

The leaders of Bihar and UP have shined in private politics. Nitish, Lalu and Ram Vilas have done politics in name only. The government did not even try to make this area a tourist destination. Lalu Yadav announced 20 lakhs for the place of birth, but still not received. Advocate says that it takes 3 hours to cover a distance of 20 kms from Bihar. Had the leaders of Bihar acted instead of announcing, this area would have appeared as a big tourist destination.
