Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the JMM-Congress government in his first poll rally in Jharkhand.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday kicked off BJP’s campaign in Jharkhand and charged the Hemant Soren government with allowing the infiltrators to settle all across the state to secure their votes in the elections.
The Prime Minister also alleged that JMM-Congress-RJD have resorted to the policy of extreme appeasement.
What did PM Modi say in his first Jharkhand poll rally?
“JMM-Congress-RJD have resorted to the policy of appeasement to its extreme. These three parties are hell-bent on breaking the social fabric. These three parties are supporters of infiltrators. To get the votes of Bangladeshi infiltrators, they are settling these infiltrators all over Jharkhand,” PM Modi said, launching a massive attack in his first election rally in the state which goes to Assembly polls on November 13 and 20, the results of which will be announced on November 23.
PM Modi claimed that the mafia has overtaken the Hemant Soren government and a vote for the BJP will be a stroke on the “mafia system”.
“Jharkhand government has become enslaved by the mafia. The people are being forced to migrate. Your every vote will harm the mafia system made by JMM-RJD-Congress here,” he said.
The Prime Minister’s pitch for action against infiltrators resonates with the BJP’s poll manifesto which was released on Sunday by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in which the party has vowed action against the infiltrators.
PM Modi’s ‘obstacle’ charge against Soren
He accused the Soren government of putting “obstacles” in the implementation of central schemes in Jharkhand.
“For better facilities in Jharkhand, for farmers, for strengthing industries in the state, the Central govt has made all efforts even when the JMM government put obstacles before it..When you will form double engine- govt here, then development in the state will also take place at double the pace…” he said.
