Films need to be made following the Great Calcutta Killings like the Kashmir Files. State Opposition Leader Shuvendu Adhikari made the remarks after seeing the Kashmir files on Tuesday. He saw the film with the BJP MLAs in a theater in Bidhannagar on that day.
The BJP MLAs left the assembly session on Wednesday and reached the auditorium of Bidhannagar in a special bus. Inside the bus, the slogan was ‘Hindu Hindu Bhai Bhai’. Shuvendu Adhikari came out after seeing the picture and said, ‘The truth was kept hidden for so long. Thus the film needs to be made following the Great Calcutta Killings. There could be pictures of post-poll violence. ‘
Let me tell you, Kashmir files are in the debate even before their release. The film is based on the story of the expulsion of Hindus from Kashmir in 1990. Anupam Kher has acted in the film.
