The earth of Himachal has once again been shaken by the earthquake. Earthquake tremors were felt in Chamba including Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti district at 10:46 pm last night. The epicenter of the earthquake is Chamba. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.3 at Richter School. This was the strongest of the 5 aftershocks of the earthquake in 10 days. People have been frightened by the continuous earthquake. They come out of the house even after the slightest shaking.

The earth started shaking with great intensity in the area at 10:46 pm on Tuesday night. People were sleeping at home. The weather was bad too. When the earthquake was felt, they left everything and came out. Earthquake tremors have been felt here since 26 December. It was the strongest blow. Its intensity was 4.3 on the Richter scale. There was a lot of stir in Chamba district during this period. People came out of their homes in many areas. Whereas its effect was also seen in Lahaul including Kullu, Manali. There is no information about the loss of life or property due to the earthquake, but the frequent earthquakes have created fear among the people.

Earthquake tremors also occurred on the night of 2-3 January.

Earthquake tremors have also been felt in Lahaul and Kullu-Manali during the night. Earlier, earthquake has also occurred in Mandi, Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh. These districts have also been the epicenter of earthquakes at different times.

Tremors were felt in tribal district Kinnaur on the intervening night of January 2-3. Their depth was up to 5 kilometers, while the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 2.8 on the Richter scale. There was an earthquake in Lahaul also at 2:22 pm on the night of 2-3 January.

The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Kullu district on December 28, with a depth of 10 km and the magnitude of the earthquake measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale. Earlier on December 26, an earthquake of magnitude 2.8 with a depth of 5 km had hit Mandi district.
