The young man saved the deer’s life by jumping into the water at the risk of his life

In the continuous rains, vast settlements and forests have been washed away in the Terai and Dwars of North Bengal. Like human beings, art is also wild. A young man saved a deer by risking his life. The incident took place in Lalitbari area of Jalpaiguri district on Saturday morning. The forest official praised the young man named Bishwa Roy.

According to the locals, the young man named Bishwa Roy saw so many deer floating in the Lalitbari area of Mantabari Panchayat around 8.20 am on Saturday. Without thinking, he jumped into the canal to save the deer. Immediately other youths gathered on the bank. With their help, the young man saved the deer by swimming about 50 meters against the strong current.

After that the news reached the Belakoba Ranger office of Baikunthpur forest. From there the forest workers came and rescued the deer and took it away. Forest Officer Sanjay Dutt said, ‘The deer is a barking deer species. It was healed and left in the forest today. The bravery of the youth is really commendable. ‘

Let me tell you, every year a lot of wildlife dies in the forests of North Bengal due to floods. Jaldapara, a vast area of Gorumara forest, goes under water. The vast meadows that sprouted when the water receded became the ideal breeding ground for wildlife.
