Baisakhi festival was started by Shri Guru Amardas Ji.
Giani Harpreet Singh told that in Sikh tradition this holy festival is being celebrated since the time of Shri Guru Amardas Ji. Sikh Bhai Taro ji had put his views before Shri Guru Amardas ji that a common day should be celebrated, on which Sikhs from all over the world should gather. so that they can get to know each other.

The gurus announced two days. In which the people of Goindwal Sahib, who celebrate Baisakhi, were asked to reach Sri Amritsar Sahib Sangat on the day of Diwali. After this, in 1706, Khalsa Foundation Day was celebrated on behalf of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Sri Damdama Sahib.

In which Sri Sahib of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the gun fired by him and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji were also shown to the Sangat of Sri Sahib. Politics is not possible without arms
Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said that rule is not possible without weapons. Even today the same country is the most prosperous, which has the biggest strength, the army. Political forces want to separate Sikhs from arms, which is not possible.
