The Supreme Court has rejected the petition to transfer Shiv Sena’s assets to the Eknath Shinde faction. At present, the property of Shiv Sena is with the Uddhav Thackeray faction. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PM Narasimha asked the petitioner who you are, what is your right in this matter. Thereafter the petition was dismissed.

Actually, Maharashtra’s lawyer Ashish Giri had filed a petition in the court. He had demanded that all the properties of Shiv Sena be given to the Shinde faction.

The petitioner had said – there should not be a situation like Tamil Nadu in Maharashtra
Petitioner Ashish Giri had said in the petition that being a voter of Maharashtra, I am filing this application in the Supreme Court. All the questions related to Shiv Sena’s property should be answered in time. The whole situation regarding the party should be clarified, so that a Tamil Nadu-like situation does not arise in Maharashtra.

In fact, after the death of Jayalalithaa in Tamil Nadu, her party was divided into two factions regarding the occupation of AIADMK. One faction came with veteran party leader E Palaniswami ie EPS and the other with O Panneerselvam ie OPS. This matter also reached the Supreme Court. After the court’s order, the command of AIADMK was completely handed over to Palaniswami.

Shiv Sena has 190 property worth more than one crore
Shiv Sena currently has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 191.82 crore, the Shiv Sena building in Dadar is also occupied by the Uddhav faction. Sources say that in his will, Balasaheb named the first floor of the three-storey building of Matoshree in Mumbai in the name of Jaidev and the second and third floors in the name of Uddhav, while the ground floor was kept for Shiv Sena. In such a situation, it was believed that the ownership of the ground floor of the Matoshree building could go away from Thackeray.
