A case of torture of a maid has come to light from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where a female teacher hired a nanny to take care of her two and a half year old innocent. The maid practiced putting the child to sleep by feeding cannabis. When the mother came to know that the child was getting irritable and kept sleeping when she came back in the afternoon, she became suspicious and asked the maid about it. Then the maid confessed that she used to give cannabis tablets mixed with milk to the child.
