Welfare episode is not a matter of anything. A section of Calcutta High Court lawyers have written a letter to take stern action against Kalyan Banerjee. The letter was sent to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court and the Chief Minister. 158 lawyers have written two-page letters. There have been allegations of nepotism against Kalyan, giving unwanted benefits to some female lawyers, and making harsh remarks against the governor.
They allege, there are multiple instances where he unwittingly favored female lawyers. Besides, several women lawyers claimed that Kalyan Banerjee did not treat them properly. He used to treat them disrespectfully. That is why they have complained. The letter, meanwhile, states that he used his position and power to enlist his son and daughter as lawyers on a government panel. However, Kalyan Banerjee did not want to comment. Kalyan Banerjee recently opened his mouth against the relevant Abhishek Banerjee. Since then, a section of the party has come out against him.
Meanwhile, Kalyan Banerjee had earlier said that he has no other leader besides Mamata Banerjee. However, Abhishek told Goa that Kalyan Banerjee’s statement proved that the party has democracy. I also have no other leader except Mamata Banerjee. Where is the mistake in the words of Kalyan Bandyopadhyay?
