The Left took over the agricultural cooperative in Howrah unopposed

When the entire state was accused of farce in the name of vote, the opposite happened in Howrah’s Sankrail. Agricultural Co-operative Societies took over unopposed. But not the Trinamool, but the Left has taken over the Shyamaprasanna Agricultural Cooperative Society of Sankrail. Neither the Trinamool nor any other party could field candidates in any of the 64 seats of the cooperative society. The Trinamool MLA claimed that no one was aware of the election being held in that cooperative.

Trinamool MLA of Sankrail Priya Pal said, ‘The election was held in that cooperative without giving any notice. We didn’t know anything. Nothing was known when the nomination was submitted, when or when the notification was issued. We will take legal action.’

I went to the Chief Minister’s house 3 times, but I did not see him, claimed Atanur’s grandmother

The last day for withdrawal of nomination papers was Tuesday. In the afternoon of this day in front of the cooperative, the left activist supporters enjoyed the game of Abi.

It is known that the last election in this assembly was held in 2015. After that, the members of the cooperative approached the High Court demanding to hold elections. The election was held on the order of the High Court. Left won unopposed.

Political operatives in the district say the Trinamool Congress is so preoccupied with the corruption probe that they have not had time to look for votes. Trinamool leaders are scared of whose house the CBI will go to after this. That is why they did not find the election.
