After Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vicky Kaushal is back with yet another family entertainer The Great Indian Family. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Manushi Chhillar. The makers on Tuesday dropped the much-awaited trailer of the film, which is slated for its release on September 22.

The trailer introduces Vicky Kaushal as Bhajan Kumar, who is a self-acclaimed undisputed King of Balrampur. Bhajan Kumar sings at jagratas, weddings, and other family events. The trailer further suggests the plot of the story, which revolves around Bhajan Kumar’s family finding out the truth about him. Kumar turns out to be a Muslim and not a Hindu, who sings Bhajans across the small town. The film will also trace the love story of Bhajan Kumar along the process of his family abandoning him later.

Vicky Kaushal was last seen with Sara Ali Khan in the comedy film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. On the other hand, Manushi Chhillar made her Bollywood debut in 2022 with Samrat Prithviraj, alongside Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood, and Sanjay Dutt. The film failed to impress the audience and did not perform at the box office.
