Low pressure forming over Bay of Bengal is gradually gaining strength. Due to this, heavy rainfall has started in the coastal areas since Saturday. Along with this, the strength of the wind increased. In this situation, the fear of Sundarbans is increasing. On the other hand, flood has also occurred in Dighat since yesterday.

2/4Due to the low pressure, fishermen have been banned from deep sea fishing. The administration is working to warn the fishermen through microphones in the coastal areas. Meanwhile, the administration has issued a ban on fishing in the river creeks of Sundarbans. Tourists are prohibited from entering the sea. The local administration has barricaded ropes next to the sea guardwall. The low pressure may bring gusty winds of 35 to 40 kmph over coastal areas.
