Afghan woman Razia Muradi has given a befitting reply to Taliban by winning gold medal in MA (Public Administration) from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat in Gujarat. Razia Muradi, a native of Afghanistan, said- ‘I represent those women of Afghanistan who are deprived of education. I want to tell the Taliban that given a chance, women can also achieve success in any field.

Muradi is studying in the University of Surat
Razia Muradi won the Gold Medal in MA (Public Administration) at the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) convocation on Monday. He has won Gold Medal for MA with 8.60 (CGPA) grade, which is the highest score. Muradi Muradi has been studying in the University of Surat for the last three years.

Thanks to Indian government and Indians
Muradi targeted the Taliban and said- ‘It is shameful that the government of my country has banned the education of girls and women. I am deeply grateful to the Government of India, ICCR, VNSGU and the people of India for giving me this opportunity.

Muradi Muradi has been studying in the University of Surat for the last three years.

Now doing PhD in Public Administration
Talking to the media, Razia told that after coming to India, she started her studies online due to the Kovid lockdown. In the first two semesters, most of his classes and exams were held online. Apart from the Gold Medal, he also won the Sharda Ambelal Desai Award at the convocation. She completed her MA in April 2022 and is now pursuing PhD in Public Administration.

Haven’t met family for three years
Muradi further said that this opportunity gives me a different feeling. I am very happy for this medal. But I am also sad for not being able to meet my family for three years. If I tell them about my success on phone, they will be happy.
