Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that it would be impossible for the BJP to put up a 2019 performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party may lose its current 50 seats in the upcoming general election. Already BJP has lost power in many states. Now the BJP will not be able to get majority even in the Lok Sabha elections. It is also not impossible that BJP may not be able to form the government in 2024. Shashi Tharoor was speaking at the Kerala Literature Festival on Friday.

Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor said how well the BJP had performed in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, the BJP performed brilliantly. In West Bengal also the party had won 18 seats, but in 2024 it is impossible for the BJP to perform like the last election. The BJP will not even be able to get a majority in the Lok Sabha elections.

Opposition gains from BJP’s loss
The Pulwama and Balakot attacks immediately before the elections in 2019 played a key role in helping the BJP win. Now nothing like this can happen. The BJP will suffer a loss of 50 seats, which will benefit the opposition parties. Explain that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won 303 out of 543 seats, while the Congress had won 52 seats.

Tharoor said dynasty is in every party
During this, Shashi Tharoor also talked about the challenges coming after 75 years of the country’s independence. Tharoor said dynasty is a big challenge in a democracy. Those who accuse the Congress should first look at their own party. Dynasty politics is happening in every party. From former UP CM late Mulayam Singh Yadav to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Karunanidhi, Bal Thackeray, sons or nephews of all politicians are the successors of their party today.
