Thane: A fire broke out at My Kitchen hotel and at an adjacent house near Work out cinema in Thane on Monday evening.
There were no reports of any injury or casualty.
At least three fire engines, 1 QRV (Quick Response Vehicle) and one jumbo water tanker have rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of Municipal Corporation (TMC), Santosh Kadam said.
Kadam informed that Ravi Takle (84) and Kunda Takle (78) were rescued by TDRF(Thane Disaster Response Force) jawan from the first floor of the ground-plus-two storey structure.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
