In the attack on April 20 in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists fired steel bullets at an army truck. These bullets are capable of penetrating armored shields. NSG and NIA team is probing the case. The officer associated with the investigation said that a sniper targeted the army truck. After this there was firing on the truck and grenades were thrown.
The soldiers did not get time to retaliate. The terrorists also stole the weapons of the jawans before fleeing from the attack site. In the terrorist attack in Poonch, 5 soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles Unit were martyred. A young man was injured there. The army truck that came under attack near Bhata Dhurian Jangal was carrying fruits and eatables for Iftar for people in a nearby village.
On the other hand, Shiv Sena Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut has claimed that Eknath Shinde’s government in Maharashtra will fall in the next 15 to 20 days. He said that the death warrant of the government has been issued. Now it has to be decided who will sign it. 1. Northern Army Commander reviews search operation, 30 people detained
Northern Command chief Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi met the jawan injured in the Poonch attack at Udhampur Command Hospital. He told the jawan that action is being taken against the terrorists responsible for the attack. General Dwivedi also reviewed the search operation being carried out to nab the terrorists. Earlier on April 22, he had also visited the site of the attack.
According to officials, more than 30 people have been detained for questioning in the Poonch attack, but no arrests have been made so far. Security forces are using drones and sniffer dogs to search the dense forest, but without success. It is believed that the terrorists were living in Rajouri and Poonch for more than a year and had sufficient knowledge of the area.

2. Raut said – Government’s death warrant has been issued, hope for justice from Supreme Court
Sanjay Raut said that the death warrant of the government has been issued. The Supreme Court had last month (on March 16) reserved judgment on petitions by factions of Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde. These petitions were related to the political upheaval in the state last year. A petition sought disqualification of 16 Shiv Sena MLAs accompanying Shinde.
Raut hopes that the court will give a verdict in favor of the Uddhav faction in this matter. On Saturday, Raut claimed that the BJP has asked the Chief Minister to pack his bag and bed. Earlier, Raut had claimed the fall of the Shinde government in February as well. But in February, the Election Commission had allowed the Shinde faction to use the Shiv Sena name and party symbol, considering it to be the real Shiv Sena.

3. Wrestlers protest again at Jantar Mantar, said – will wake up only after the arrest of Brij Bhushan
Wrestlers have again started protesting against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Singh. Wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar say that the committee formed to investigate the allegations against Brij Bhushan did not pick up their phone even once in 3 months. 4. Amritpal sent to Dibrugarh Jail, said – Mann’s real face of government exposed
The Punjab Police arrested Waris Punjab de Chief Amritpal Singh from Rode village in Moga district. Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala was born in Rode village itself. Amritpal was absconding for 36 days. After his arrest, he has been sent to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. Amritpal’s 9 companions are also lodged in this jail. NSA has been imposed on everyone. Before his arrest, he addressed the people at the Gurudwara in Rode village.
Amritpal said that in the last one month the real face of Bhagwant Mann’s government has been exposed. On the other hand, the Punjab Police conducted flag marches in several cities of the state to maintain peace in the state. 5. Saudi evacuates Indians stranded in Sudan, India sends INS Sumedha – military aircraft
5 ships of Saudi Arabia reached Jeddah carrying 158 people from 11 countries from Sudan. People were welcomed here.
Fighting between the army and paramilitary forces continues in the African country of Sudan. Saudi Arabia rescued 158 people stranded here. Many Indians are included in these. India has kept two C-130J military transport aircraft on standby in Jeddah, Saudi to evacuate its citizens. Navy Ship INS Sumedha has also reached Sudan Port. Waiting for the situation to improve.
The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Indian Embassy in Sudan is also in constant touch with the UN, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the US. Country’s first water metro will start on April 25, PM Modi will flag off in Kochi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the country’s first water metro service in Kochi, Kerala on 25 April. The water metro service in Kochi has been built at a cost of Rs 1,136 crore. Under this project, 10 nearby islands will be connected to Kochi City. The Kochi Water Metro Project has 78 electric boats and 38 terminals.
This non-stop connectivity will be done with battery-operated electric hybrid boats. This project is funded by the Government of Kerala (GoK) and KfW. KfW is a German funding agency. The Kochi Water Metro is fully air-conditioned and eco-friendly. Passengers can travel on both Kochi Metro and Water Metro using the ‘Kochi-1’ card. Read full news…
