The Rachakonda Police in Telangana’s Hyderabad have booked state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar for criticising Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao using derogatory comments and calling the CM a “boozer and cheater.”
It was alleged that on June 2, the Telangana BJP unit, under the leadership of Bandi Sanjay and others, organised an event in view of the Telangana Formation Day and “misused the dais and played a skit (hate act) with the help of the BJP cultural team.”
Police said that the skit insulted a person who holds a constitutional post and was democratically elected by the people of the state.
