Story – Two young men were studying in a room in London. The name of one was Asanadekar and the name of the other was Bhimrao Ambedkar. Asanadekar used to see that Bhimrao is always studying and eats food in a very short time.

Bhimrao Ambedkar used to study only apart from his daily routine work. Once Asanadekar woke up in the middle of the night and saw that Bhimrao was still studying by drowning. Then Asanadekar asked, ‘Brother Bhimrao, for how long will you study? Now it is midnight. I think you should go to sleep.’

Bhimrao said, ‘Brother, I have no time for two things. The first is sleep and the second is fun. The question is, I do not have much money for food, so that I should give more time to eat. That’s why I have decided to dedicate every moment of my student life to the study of learning.

Saying this, Bhimrao started reading again and Asanadekar fell asleep.

Lessons – Ambedkar ji has taught us that time is the most valuable thing for a student. Every moment should be used for study. Learning does not come from fun. Something has to be sacrificed, then we get knowledge.
