Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Actors Munmun Dutta & Raj Anadkat Get Engaged: Report

New Delhi: The famous sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been a favourite among television audiences. However, it’s not just the on-screen drama that has fans talking; the personal lives of the show’s actors often make headlines as well. It has been recently reported that Munmun Dutta, who portrays the character of Babita Ji, and Raj Anadkat, formerly known for his role as Tappu, have taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.

According to a report by News18 Showsha, Munmun, 36, and Raj, 27, exchanged rings in a private ceremony earlier this month in Gujarat, with their families in attendance.

Speculation about the couple’s relationship has been swirling for some time now, with insiders revealing that their families have long accepted their bond. A source close to the actors shared with News18, “The engagement took place just a few days back. The two apparently exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj’s families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony.”

The source further added, “They have been dating ever since Raj joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It was very evident. Everyone on the sets knew about it. In fact, some people were certain that Munmun and Raj would get married eventually. Therefore, it is not shocking that they are engaged now.”

Despite the reports, neither Munmun nor Raj has officially confirmed their engagement, and details about their wedding plans remain undisclosed. The duo has previously urged fans to refrain from speculating about their personal lives.
